Prior to joining e3 Wealth, Gary pursued a desire to help “main street” investors make sense of the overwhelming array of available investment opportunities that can be intimidating to fully grasp. In addition to working directly with clients, his experience includes work with private and public organizations on multiple projects in multiple sectors, and developing relationships with entities from government contractors to Oil & Gas operators. His business development roles have been wide ranging, including bringing to market an industry changing braking technology for automotive, industrial, and commercial applications; cervical stabilization devices for women suffering from cervical incompetence; and working with individual landowners with mineral rights on property to secure FAIR contracts with O&G operators in their area.
In a role working for one of the largest alternative investment banks on Wall Street, Gary had thousands of conversations with advisors nationwide looking to mitigate client risk by focusing on assets outside the traditional investment venues. After raising over $800m with the investment bank, Gary knew there was a need for a broader understanding of the investment landscape and how the retail client has limited access to that broad landscape. This epiphany is what brought Gary to e3 Wealth in 2017. With a deep knowledge of non-correlated assets, and broad understanding of multiple markets/industries, he finds ways to bring an asymmetrical balance of risk/return opportunities while hedging risk and protecting a client’s portfolio's downside.
Gary's purpose proved an excellent fit with e3's Advance & Protect philosophy. He knows that there are more efficient ways to manage the purpose of his clients’ money, whether in their personal or business economy. He enjoys taking the time to educate clients on a wide array of opportunities while helping them understand the tax efficiency of that money, because it's not how much you make, it's how much you keep after making that money. He takes a sincere approach to his clients as individuals and feels a deep responsibility to the purpose of their money, whether personally or professionally, while building a comprehensive and dynamic financial plan that can evolve with life's changes.
Gary attended Arizona State University with a focus on Entrepreneurial Studies. He holds Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses, and is life insurance licensed in Arizona. Gary also has been Six Sigma trained by a Master Black Belt at GE. Outside the office Gary enjoys spending time with his future bride and kids, golfing, circuit training, jumping rope, charitable giving, reading & self educating, socializing and expanding his ever growing network of professional & personal relationships.
