Don is principal of Fine Future Financial (FFF) and an independent Fiduciary Advisor affiliated with E3 Wealth. He has been helping clients protect their assets and income for over 20 years. FFF is an independent organization which focuses on preserving wealth, growing assets and maximizing income while minimizing taxes. Independence provides the freedom to research and recommend the best solutions available for clients. He is dedicated to serving individual needs to assure that personal goals are prioritized.
Prior to 1996, Don worked in the treasury group of a Fortune 100 oil and gas company analyzing corporate financial risks. Thereafter, he redirected his analytical skills into helping hundreds of individuals, business owners and small businesses in Texas and Louisiana identify and protect themselves against risks that could be financially devastating. Risks he seeks to minimize for clients include market volatility, taxes, inflation, and longevity. More than this, he provides straight-forward guidance pertaining to financial and estate planning, wealth preservation, income strategies, life insurance, and long-term care considerations to help clients prepare for the road ahead.
Don holds a Series 65 license and is an Investment Advisor Representative; he is also insurance licensed. He is a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) - a designation obtained through the College for Financial Planning, and is certified by the Corporation for Long Term Care Certification (CLTC).
Don and Jonathan, Don’s oldest son and partner since 2013, stand ready to assist clients in defining and achieving their financial goals. This includes demonstrating how their clients can maintain more control over their assets through planning resulting in increased income and financial flexibility building confidence and peace of mind. Their passion is enabling clients to fulfill the financial future of their dreams.
Don was born in Beaumont, Texas and graduated from Lamar University with a BBA in Finance. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Pam, and they have 3 grown sons. When not helping clients, Don and his family, through their church, lead weekly ministry outreaches to internationals and others associated with Lamar University. Don is also an active member of the non-profit Young Men's Business League (YMBL) organization in Beaumont, Texas.
