Andrew Mathis chose a career in finance because he had a deep interest and curiosity in the way money works. This led him to the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he graduated with a degree in Finance and Economics. While attending, he was a managing Director of Marketing & Communication and of Economic Perspective for the Investment Society at UTSA. This experience allowed him to learn the function money plays in the economy and how markets function while also enabling him to see that financial institutions are not built to favor the investor. This didn’t sit right with him.
Upon graduating Andrew connected with e3 Wealth. The Purpose, Process, and Philosophy of e3 Wealth immediately resonated with how he believed finance could be approached to favor the client. He likes the focus of educating people on finance and money related issues and the fiduciary value of taking care of the client’s needs rather than the bottom line of the advisor or financial institutions.
Andrew values the service he provides his clients; how he can open up possibilities to families and individuals to grow and protect their wealth by means that align with the purpose of their money. The peace of mind that he offers to his clients is what focuses him to serve as many as he is capable of reaching.
Andrew is married to his high school sweet heart, Sandy, and they have four amazing daughters; Autumn, Winter, Lakelyn, and Raylyn; ages ranging from 9 to 1. A fun Mathis fact is that all of their girls were born in the wintertime except Winter, who was born in the autumn time. They live in San Antonio/Bulverde, where they have lived their whole lives.
